However, following a recent appraisal at my current company, I was promoted to a new role along with a significant salary increase. This led me to make the difficult decision to continue in my existing position.

I would like to sincerely thank you for the opportunity. The hospitality extended during the interview process was truly exceptional, and I gained valuable insights throughout. I was especially impressed by the professionalism and knowledge demonstrated by your team.

Having worked in the same organisation for the past ten years, it has become like a second home to me. Receiving a role I had been aspiring to made it even more compelling to stay. While I am unable to join at this time, I genuinely hope to have the opportunity to work with your esteemed organisation in the future.
